You might think that these pictures are the same but actually they are from another dinner! Every year we spend the first day of the new year at my uncles house where we also feast until we are bloated
22/366 Chinese New Year Eve
Today we started our Chinese New Year celebrations which will last for about 2 weeks. Every year we spend this day together as a family and cook a large meal for everyone to share. This year my mom made 8+dishes and I helped cook some of them. In my family, Chinese New Year is the biggest holiday that we celebrate. To us it is more important that Thanksgiving or Christmas. There is a lot of family tradition that goes into it and I enjoy doing all of it.
I have about 14pics and instead of just linking all fourteen I created small collages. If you see anything you are interested in you can follow the collage to my flickr where I have also have individual pictures of all the dishes we had!

21/366 SNOW!
20/366 Dinner with friends
19/366 Midday Sun
On weekdays I normally stay inside for work so I don’t really see the sun much since the sun sets before I leave. Today I met up with an old friend from college for lunch and even though it was cold, the sun was really bright and really strong. My friend and I haven’t seen each other since we graduated from under grad which was five years ago! We tried to meet up since then but it would fall through. It was great catching up with him and just talking about life in general. In a blink of an eye… its been 5years….
018/366 Animal Hats
I don’t know if I’m the only one who feels this way but whenever I see these little stands in the streets hanging the hats, I think that it looks like hanging animal carcasses. Yes I am disturbed lol
It is amazing how quickly the animal hats blew up this past season. I’ve always seen it while snowboarding but I guess its now okay to look like a piggy. Don’t get me wrong, I would totally wear one of these.
