So I have been doing the 365 project since 2008 and there was never a theme or anything in particular that I was going for when I took a picture. For 2010, I wanted to give myself more of a specific direction because out of all the techniques that I tried in 2009, this theme was the most challenging and rewarding. The theme for 2010 that I have chosen is off-camera lighting.

Currently I use only a Canon 580exii and cactus v2 triggers that are borrowed. I also have 3 light modifiers which I am planning on using. I have a set of Radiopopper JRx studio triggers coming in soon and hopefully by the end of the year I can expand my lights collection a bit more.

Product and portrait photography lighting gives me such a rewarding experience and hopefully at the end of the year I will be able to expand my lighting skills and have it become second nature.
